*Is at least eight characters in length | |||
*Does not contain all or part of your name | |||
*Was not your last password, or the password before your last password | |||
*Contains characters from at least three of the following four categories: | |||
**Upper case characters (A through Z) | |||
**Lower case characters (a through z) | |||
**Digits (0 through 9) | |||
**Non-alphanumeric (Such as !, $, #, %) | |||

How to change eMail Passwords
Passwords can be changed at https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change
You will need to know your password to change it. Even though there is a "Forgot your Password" link, it is not functional for security reasons.
The web version of Outlook will immediately recognize your new password. You will have to tell any other email client (Outlook app on computers, cell phones, etc.
How to change Network Passwords
Login to your account on your computer (Not on a circ desk computer, and not while offsite) Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete Choose "Change Password", and complete the form.
To be accepted, a new password:
- Is at least eight characters in length
- Does not contain all or part of your name
- Was not your last password, or the password before your last password
- Contains characters from at least three of the following four categories:
- Upper case characters (A through Z)
- Lower case characters (a through z)
- Digits (0 through 9)
- Non-alphanumeric (Such as !, $, #, %)
