Test and Training cards

If creating a test card for training new staff, the Profile should be set to TESTCARD (instead of ADULT, STAFF, etc.). All other fields, such as address, should still be completed.

TESTCARD accounts are configured so they will not receive overdue notices of any sort, or have their overdue items marked lost. Testcard checkouts won't affect the items' circulations stats.

It is important to note that Testcard transactions will appear on all cash reports.

It is requested that the branches keep the number of testcards to a minimum. MFRL-IT will be glad to remove any testcard on demand. Periodic review and removal of testcards will occur.

Staff is invited to use the title TEST BOOK in conjuction with testcard training. The title has copies in each branch.
