All MFRL library cards for all patron types (excluding ONLINE) for which we have an eMail address are sent notices that their library card privilege will expire soon.
Notices are sent on Monday mornings, and are sent to patrons with cards expiring in approximately one month (28 to 34 days in the future).  Email is the only method of delivery.
Generally, expired cards remain in the system for a minimum of one year after expiring.  Expired cards are usually purged from the system during the July that follows the card's one year anniversary of being expired.
