Please add the following instructions to the User Claims Lost procedure. If the patron has provided a replacement item with the same ISBN instead of payment, set the Payment type to CANCEL. Add notes to the patron's account explaining the replacement and fill out a Receipt for Payment form. Give the new item to our branch supervisor for processing. Remember to also make a note in our cancel/forgiven log for fines over $5.00.
