Draft
A report is sent at 8AM daily (Recipients: Linda Spivey, Salena Sullivan, Karim Khan, Chris Elledge) when one or more hotspots are overdue. At this time, they should be deactivated.
When the Hotspot Overdue report is received:
- Look up Hotspot in Workflows by copying Item ID from report and pasting into "Item Search and Display"
- Verify status of item (is it still overdue?)
- Place Copy Hold on item for HOTSPOTCOORD User ID in WF.
- Note: Patrons that have overdue hotspots won't be able to renew them. As described above, renewal would be denied due to hold.
T-Mobile
- Log in to your account at T-Mobile and navigate to Subscriber Management.
- Look up by Copy Number (Hotspot Name) or Item ID
- These columns exist; you may have to scroll right to see them
- Check the checkbox for that unit's row
- Can check multiple units at a time if desired
- Click the Suspend/Restore box, which is above the device list. A Temporary Suspend-Restore Device popup appears.
- Select Add to Device
- Set Anticipated Date of Change to today.
- Change Reason for Service Suspend to Temporary Suspend
- Do not change other fields.
- Click Submit
