How to use Blacksburg Community Room Wireless Mics
There is a lectern (brown wood) that resides in the community room closet. MFRL has acquired wireless mics to use with the sound system built into the lectern.
Power on the amplifier in the lectern


Plug the cable labeled “Dynamic” into the port of the same name.
Volume Level is set to “3” by default.

Power on the wireless Mic Receiver - Knobs from left to right are for mics 1-4, these knobs control the respective levels of the 4 wireless mics
(1&2 are the handheld mics, 3 & 4 are the wireless transmitters that accommodate either a headset mic or lapel mic.

Inside the Lecturn there is a black box labeled wireless Microphone System

In that box are 2 handheld wireless mics, 2 transmitters, 2 headset mics and 2 lapel mics. The headset and lapel mics plug into the transmitters.

Power on the handheld mics by holding down the power button



They are labeled “1” and “2”, levels are controlled by the wireless receiver according to their respective assigned numbers
The same is true for the wireless Transmitters.
The power button is on top of the receiver.

Either the lapel mic or headset mic can be plugged into the transmitter unit
